The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
